Everett Boyd also known as the "Eclectic Bassist".

Everett Boyd began his musical education at the age of 10, when he studied violin. He subsequently played electric bass and bass violin through junior high and college, with some of the pioneers of the Washington, D.C.Go-Go Music scene.

While studying classical bass violin under the tutelage of the late H. Stevens Brewster, Everett Boyd earned a music scholarship to American University. He also attended The Peabody Conservatory, and played in a variety of musical situations from classical to Jazz.

A versatile Bass musician, Everett Boyd performs and records with numerous ensembles and musicians, including Mike Clark, Onaje Allen Gumbs, Kenwood Dennard, Steve Addabbo, Alex Harding, Walt Szymanski and David Bennett Cohen.
